The other monuments of importance is the stone image of Mava Devi also known as the Nativity Sculpture.Enshrined in a small structure, the image shows Maya Devi, mother of Lord Buddha, supporting herself by holding the branch of a tree with her right hand. The newly born Gautam is standing upright on a lotus pedestal. Two other celestial figures are seen in an act of pouring water.Lotus flower are also seen being scattered from heaven.
Earlier the image was placed in the famous white temple of Maya Devi beside the pillar. but in course of excavation of the site now the nativity image has been temporarily transferred to its original palace under fully conserved archaeologically.
